Glen Parker Cycles
Glen Parker Cycles was established in Nedlands, Western Australia in 1970 and is Perth’s oldest (and best we think) bike shop. We take great pride in our wide range of product lines and competitive prices. We have a fully equipped workshop with experienced mechanics.
Come and visit us and you’ll be surprised just how many bikes, frames, parts, clothing, accessories we can fit in our shop. We must be the biggest ‘little’ bike shop around! See Perth’s largest selection of new and pre-owned road, MTB, gravel & e-bikes. We also have extensive stock of commuter, children’s and beginner’s bikes to get you started. There really is something for everyone. Our stock changes constantly, so be sure to let us know if there’s something we can help with. If we don’t have it on the shop floor, we can get it in for you. The store’s current owner of 30 years, Dennis Lightfoot, is well known on the local cycling scene and has over forty years of cycling experience in a number of different disciplines, including road and track. Dennis has had over 200 race wins in his career, in numerous countries including France, Belgium, Britain and Australia. Furthermore, Dennis was British National Champion for ‘78, ‘81 and ‘86 and still has an active hand in organising numerous racing events. His son Jack has taken over the family mantle and looks like being a chip off the old block too. Jeff Brooks, our wizard mechanic has kept Perth faithful’s wheels turning for over 10 years at Parkers. Jeff still races at a high level in Masters competitions and can show much younger riders how to really ride a bike! Emily is our new pocket rocket and superstar salesperson who has quickly gained a loyal customer following and learnt her way around our busy shop. Emily is also a very successful MTB rider, and has quite a few wins of her own, including SA State Champion.
So, whatever your needs are, large or small – come and visit us, talk bikes and meet all our friendly, knowledgeable team for the best advice and help.
